1940's Celestial Embroidered Slip - Size XS/S
Gorgeous 1940's slip with embroidered moons & stars on the sheer portion of the bodice and hem. The slip is a deep brown/black in color, from what I can tell it was originally black and has faded to a deep brown/maroon in certain areas, its quite even in the fade so it looks great. The straps are adjustable, it has beautiful seam detailing down the front and back.

Fabric: Rayon satin & nylon
Condition: Great, as stated above there is color fade, there is one small hole in the sheer portion under one arm and a few tiny pinholes
Measurements: I measure my items flat then double at the bust, waist and hips, measurements below have already been doubled in these areas. Slip is shown on a mannequin with a 36" bust, 27" waist and 36" hips for reference, it was snug on the mannequin.
straps- 6 1/2" at the longest from the shoulder to where the strap meets the slip, its adjustable as small/short as needed
bust- 30" but the cups give it flexibility up to 32/33" I would say its best for B cup or smaller
underbust/waist- up to 29" measured under the bust at the smallest part of the slip
hips- best for 37" or smaller
length- 42" when the straps are adjusted to the middle, you can make them a few inches shorter and longer
